I bought tix for Epcot food and wine when the first dates came out which was July 15th as I was going to be in Orlando. They have changed the dates and I can’t attend. Please advise.

    Hi Nancy,

Welcome to planDisney; we are happy that you are here. When it comes to the perfect combination of dining and "wine-ing," there is no place better than EPCOT's International Food & Wine Festival. I love that I can stuff my face with delicious food and then burn all those excess calories with a quick jaunt around World Showcase. It is truly one of the best festivals EPCOT has to offer.

I'm so sorry to hear that your tickets are for the wrong date. I'm sure that is frustrating, especially when you have already made plans. Unfortunately, Walt Disney World Resort Theme Park tickets are non-refundable and non-transferable, so you would not be able to cancel your tickets for July 15th, but you may be able to modify your tickets for a different date. To modify your Theme Park tickets, you must access your current tickets through My Disney Experience. Log onto your account and select "My Plans." Under "Tickets and Memory Maker," you should see your Theme Park tickets within it. Next to your tickets, you should see an option to "Modify" your tickets. Select the option and follow the on-screen prompts to change your dates.

Two last things before you change your dates, Nancy. First, Walt Disney World Resort ticket prices are dynamic, which means that the price you paid for tickets for July 15th may be different based on your new dates. If your new dates are more expensive, you must pay the difference. That said, if the price is lower than what you initially paid, you will not receive a credit or refund. Lastly, remember to check the Disney Park Pass availability calendar for the new dates. Until January 9th, Disney Park Passes are still required to enter the Theme Parks, so you must make a new one for your new tickets.

If you experience difficulties modifying your Theme Park tickets, Nancy, please contact a Cast Member in Existing Tickets. They will be able to assist you further.

    Happy Planning,
