Hi there, Kimberly! Welcome to planDisney! You’ve come to the right place today, and I am so happy you stopped by. You are not alone when it comes to having to change plans you'd made for a magical
Disney vacation this year. Walt Disney World knows that many individuals are still unable to visit as they’d hope, even in light of the
reopening of the Disney Parks in Orlando, which occurred just a few months ago. Because of this, they have made it incredibly easy to modify travel plans.
When it comes to
Park Tickets, those purchased through June 6, 2020 with a valid use period beginning March 12, 2020 or later have all been
automatically extended. This should be reflected within your
My Disney Experience account if the Tickets are linked there, and the Tickets should have a new expiration date of September 26, 2021. This is subject to change, but we have not heard any information regarding any further extensions at this time. What I do know is that if you think you will not be able to use your Tickets by that date, you can call
Disney Ticket Services to discuss alternate options, such as an exchange or a refund.
Kimberly, I hope that your Disney dreams will come true very soon! My relatives from Europe were also unable to travel abroad for what was to be their first-ever visit to the Most Magical Place on Earth. We are hopeful for next year and reassured that Walt Disney World would make it simple for us to alter our plans if we need to do so again. Please know that it is our pleasure to provide the most up to date information available to us, and you can return to check in again with us anytime you like!
Wishing you many magical memories,
Clara
