Hello. We bought tickets through USAA Rewards and received an email that refers to our tickets as vouchers, that we need to bring to the venue to redeem. We’re unable to make reservations using the voucher Numbers. Please advise

    Hi there Joshua,

Welcome to planDisney and thank you so much for your question! I'm so glad to hear that you're planning a trip to the Disneyland Resort, and it's coming up soon! Have you started counting down the days, yet?

Here at planDisney, we're Guests just like you and we unfortunately don't have much information to share when it comes to theme park tickets (and vouchers) purchased from third-party vendors. I would highly recommend reaching out to that third-party vendor first to get a better sense of their terms & agreements for tickets and vouchers.

However, it does sound like this might be a voucher that goes toward the purchase of tickets based on the way you worded your question. This would mean that there should be a method of using that voucher to purchase your tickets, but again I would confirm with USAA on how that process works and whether you use it to make the purchase with them or through the Disneyland Resort directly. It might also be helpful to call a Disney Cast Member at the Tickets line to see if they can apply that voucher toward the purchase of theme park tickets.

One thing I would suggest is making these calls soon! Once these vouchers are applied toward your purchase of theme park tickets, you'll then be able to make your theme park reservations - you need both your tickets and park reservations to enter a park on the day of your visit. These theme park reservations are subject to availability and I often see them run out for the same-day or next-day reservations, so we'll want to make sure we get those taken care of soon!

Once you have your tickets and park reservations, you can move on to the most important part of planning your trip: the food and beverage options! The Disney California Adventure Food & Wine Festival will be happening during your visit so make sure to check out the Foodie Guide on the Disney Parks Blog for a detailed list of all the delicious offerings.

Thanks again for your question, Joshua! Have a fantastic trip to the Happiest Place on Earth.

    Have a Magical Day,
    Greg
