I bought tickets tonight but when I went to make a theme park reservation, I didn't see where to do that..I tried to enter in my ticket number but it said it was already associated with a reservation.. Help

    Amber, welcome to planDisney!

Not to worry, I think we can easily find our way through your question together and ensure a smooth carpet ride into your Disneyland Resort vacation.

When you purchase theme park tickets on the Disneyland website, you are asked to select which days you intend to visit as part of the check-out process. This essentially also makes the theme park reservation for you. I know, it can be a little confusing as there are other tickets holders, like those Guests with Magic Keys or those that have purchased a Disneyland Vacation Package, that have to make reservations as a separate transaction. My instinct is telling me you already have those reservations safe and sound in your account, but let's double check:

    • Open up your Disneyland Mobile App and select the "three-lines" icon in the bottom right-hand corner.
    • Scroll down and tap "Future Plans".
    • On the next page, you should see any theme park reservations you are currently holding for the tickets linked to your account. I'm hoping they are right here for you, Amber, and you can rest assured the magic is yours!
    • If you don't see them here, my next step would be to double check that your tickets are properly linked to your account by tapping the "three-lines" again and selecting "Tickets & Passes". You should be able to scroll left to see any and all tickets you have linked. If you don't see them, tap "+" in the top right and select "Link Tickets & Passes". You will be able to manually enter the ticket confirmation number from your purchase confirmation email. Once linked, tap the "+" along the bottom navigation bar and select "Make a Park Reservation" and follow along from there. If you still have issues locating your reservations, it's time to give Guest Services a ring as they can take a look at your account directly.
Amber, if you've made it this far, hopefully we've resolved your missing reservations issue, so let's get to the fun stuff! I highly recommend taking a bit of time ahead of your trip to explore the mobile app. It will save you a lot of time once you're in the parks if you know where to find specific information. Within the app, you'll be able to check dining availability, mobile order meals and snacks, check wait times and book Lightning Lanes, and keep track of any photos you take with a PhotoPass photographer. One of my favorite features is the versatility of the map, which you can find by tapping the teardrop icon along the bottom navigation bar. At the top of the map, you will see a drop down menu where you can highlight attractions, characters, PhotoPass spots, Guest Services and more. You can also select the view - either the map itself or tap "Show List" in the top right-hand corner. Sometimes I prefer to see my options as a list for quick reference!

I sure hope this was helpful in your planning! If you have any more questions, don't hesitate to give us a shout here at planDisney.

    Magic awaits,
    Tara
