Howdy, Edward! Thanks for bringing your question to planDisney!
I have some great news for you! Many tickets that were purchased before the closure for the pandemic have automatically had their expiration dates extended. For example, wholly unused, non-promotional multi-day tickets that have an original expiration date of January 12, 2022, will now have an expiration date of January 12, 2023. You can see the complete list of ticket types with new expiration dates by visiting the
"Theme Park Tickets and Reservations" page and scrolling all the way down to the "Modifications and Cancellations" section.
You now have plenty of time to plan your trip to the Happiest Place on Earth once you feel comfortable traveling again. The first thing you will want to do as part of the planning process is to link your tickets to your Disneyland Resort account. You can do this on the
Disneyland app or by clicking the "Link Tickets" link under the "My Disneyland" menu on the Disneyland Resort website. By linking your tickets, you'll be able to make
theme park reservations when you have selected your new travel dates. Theme park reservations are required for each day you want to visit the parks and they can be made up to 120 days in advance. I suggest planning early and making theme park reservations as soon as you are able as dates (especially those around holidays) tend to fill up fast. If you purchased Park Hopper tickets, you will make a reservation for the park you want to start at each day. Then at 1:00 p.m., you can hop to the other park.
