Hiya Kristen! Greetings from planDisney! Thanks for stopping by!
Oh boy! Only a few short days until you arrive at the
Most Magical Place on Earth! There is nothing more exciting than those last couple of days leading up to the big one! I'm sure you have your plans mapped out and your dining reservations secured. Make sure you have also made your park reservations to the parks you want to visit each day. Park reservations are required at this time along with a valid ticket.
Being that you purchased your Florida resident theme park tickets through a third-party site, there is still a chance you need to show proper identification upon arrival to the parks. If you had purchased your tickets through the Walt Disney World website or in your My Disney Experience App, there are ways to
verify your residency online. When purchasing online, you need to fill out “Your Florida Resident Information” upon checkout. If using the app, it will allow you to verify during the “Customize Your Tickets” step. According to the Walt Disney World website, these are the only two methods to prove your Florida residency digitally.
Since you only needed to input an address during the checkout process, I have a feeling you will need to show proof when you arrive. Make sure to bring a
proper form of identification, including a valid driver's license, ID card, or military ID all being from the state of Florida. You can stop by any Guest Relations booth outside of the theme parks to verify this.
Kristen, depending on how often you visit the parks, the
Disney Pixie Dust Pass is available to all Florida residents. This is the only Annual Pass currently being sold, and it allows you to visit the parks on most weekdays. I suggest looking into the price to see if it makes sense for you!
Have a magical time during this trip, Kristen!
See ya real soon!
