Hi Amanda! Welcome to planDisney! Thanks so much for dropping by and asking this great question. I'm happy to help!
What an amazing mom you are to treat your son and his friends to
theme park tickets at the Disneyland Resort! I'm so sorry to hear that some of the planned guests are sick. You can cancel the
theme park reservations for those guests that will not be able to go to the theme park and you can use those tickets in the future for your family, regardless of the names that were assigned. You will need to make new theme park reservations for the future date you would like to visit. I recommend checking out the
Theme Park Reservation Availability Calendar first to see if the date you would like to visit is available. You do not need to worry about changing the names on the tickets. Identification is not required when using theme park tickets. When you arrive at the front entrance of the theme park to scan for entry, a Cast Member will take each person's photo and at that point, the ticket will be assigned to the individual that is photographed.
I'm wishing your son a very Happy Birthday and I hope you have fun celebrating at
The Happiest Place on Earth! Be sure to stop by City Hall on
Main Street, U.S.A. in
Disneyland Park, or at Guest Services in
Disney California Adventure Park to pick up a complimentary birthday button for your son.
When you're ready to plan another visit, please send us your questions at
planDisney. You've got a friend in us and we would love to help!
See ya real soon!
Smiles,
Lisa
