Hi Julius! Welcome to planDisney! Thanks for stopping by with your question!
Purchasing theme park tickets is a simple process using the
Walt Disney World website. As you just experienced, once you select the number of days per ticket and the date you plan to start using them, you'll have the option to add on a few services that may come in handy. You can add on
Disney Genie+ for the entire length of your tickets. This service will allow you to make ride selections for select attractions to bypass the standby queue and lower your wait times. You can also add
Memory Maker, which gives you unlimited photo downloads from any picture your party took with a PhotoPass photographer. If you opted not to include these services, you can always add them before or during your stay.
When you
purchased your tickets on the website, it should have given you options on how to obtain the tickets. You could have selected to have them delivered to your residence. If you did not choose this option, you should have received an email confirmation for your ticket purchase. To pick up your
admission card in person, you'll need to stop at the ticket window outside of any of the theme parks. You'll need to bring your confirmation email, a valid government-issued photo ID, and the original credit card or form of payment you purchased with. With these requirements, you'll need to be the one to pick them up yourself. Once you have your admission card in hand, you will not need to stop back at the ticket window again. Simply use this card for the entirety of your stay.
If you wanted to save some time and not have to visit the ticket window, purchase a
MagicBand before your arrival. You can order them before your stay and have them shipped to your house. When entering the parks, simply tap in at the entrance using the band. You can also try the
Disney MagicMobile service. You can set this up on your mobile device for easy entry into the parks.
One thing to keep in mind is that
theme park reservations are required for entry into the parks. You need to log on to your My Disney Experience account and select "Park Reservations". Once here, you'll pick which park you want to visit on select dates. I would recommend taking care of this soon since park reservations are not guaranteed and are subject to availability.
Julius, I hope this information helps you on your upcoming visit! Have a magical vacation!
See ya real soon!
