Hiya Brandi!
Welcome to planDisney! Your Walt Disney World vacation countdown is now in the single digits and I'm sure the excitement is palpable. It's during this time that I'm scrambling to gather the last-minute items that I will need for my
Park Bag. One recent steaming hot trip made me appreciate the benefit of having a neck fan. It looked dorky but I was cool and very comfortable. Now, I feel like it could blend in as a Park accessory for those who love
TRON Lightcycle / Run presented by Enterprise. Now, since you purchased the tickets and are finding them in your
My Disney Experience Account it will be simple to just reassign the tickets to your sister and her children. First, make sure your sister makes her own My Disney Experience account. Then she will head over to the
Family & Friends section of her account and it will be here that she will link herself to you. If she doesn't see your profile on this page, she can find you by clicking the "+Add a Guest" button and entering your information on the next page. Make sure to accept her link to you and voila you are now sharing plans. She should also make on her account, under her Family & Friends list, profiles for her children. Anyone under the age of 13 has to be just added through the same "+Add a Guest" button.
Once a child turns 13 they can create their own My Disney Experience account but it's optional. My mother-in-law who is definitely over 13 does not have her own My Disney Experience account but is perfectly happy having me handle her tickets and reservations. Make sure that there is only one account for each child as multiple accounts can cause issues. You can now link to her kids as well and share all your plans.
To reassign tickets, head to your My Disney Experience account again and scroll to the bottom till you see "My Plans, Reservations and Tickets". Click on "Tickets, Passes & Memory Maker" and you should all the tickets you purchased. Underneath each ticket there will be a drop-down box that says "Reassign Ticket" and when you click it you will see your Family & Friends list. Click on your sister's name and you're done. Continue this for all the kids.
Your sister can
link any MagicBands or MagicBands+ to anyone's profile that she is linked to through her My Disney Experience Account. Just scroll to the bottom and click on "Link" on the bottom. On this page, you can also report a lost MagicBand or deactivate them. While answering this question I realized I had 10 plus MagicBands and cards linked to me and that just felt unnecessary as I did not even know where some of them are in my house. Thanks for reminding me to clean that up!
If you encounter any issues in the Parks please head over to Guest Services or the Front Desk of your Walt Disney World Resort Hotel for assistance. I love using my MagicBand to make purchases while in the Parks and I always forget my 4-digit PIN. The Front Desk Cast Members at the Resorts have always been great at helping me out with those issues.
I hope this helps and you all have a magical time! If you have any questions please
let me know!
Happy Planning!
