We bought tickets separately from our reservations package, & my child turned 3 this past march, and were going to Disney the week of her birthday but had to postpone to June, due to the fact that she is 3 do we now have to purchase a ticket for her?

    Hi there Kristine!

Thanks for bringing another question to planDisney! I’m so happy to hear you were able to reschedule your visit to Walt Disney World.

Any guest age three and older requires a theme park ticket, regardless of when the reservation was booked. You will need to purchase a theme park ticket for your daughter. Now, there are several great options for your daughter’s tickets. There are currently two Special Offers on tickets for Summer 2025. You can save 50% on kids' 3-Day or longer tickets with start dates May 27th, 2025, through September 20th, 2025. You can also add the Park Hopper, Park Hopper Plus, or Water Park and Sports Options to these tickets. Another option is a 3-Day, 3-Park ticket that is valid for one admission to EPCOT, Hollywood Studios, and Animal Kingdom, one park per day for three days. This ticket is not valid at Magic Kingdom and is not eligible for Park Hopping. If these tickets don’t meet your vacation needs, you’re welcome to purchase the standard Theme Park Tickets

Enjoy your magical vacation, Kristine! Even though your daughter’s official birthday has passed, this can still be a birthday celebration. Be sure to visit a Guest Relations location and ask for a complimentary celebration button that you can personalize for your daughter. If you have any more questions, please come see us again at planDisney!
