Welcome to planDisney, Carrigan! I'm so glad you stopped by with your question.
If I'm understanding correctly, it sounds like you purchased
theme park tickets and are hoping to visit the parks on Saturday, April 22, but were unable to make
theme park reservations for that date. When I look on the
Theme Park Reservation Availability Calendar, it shows both parks are still available to make theme park reservations for that date using a standard theme park ticket.
However, I see you're writing in from California, so I'm wondering if you purchased the
SoCal resident 3-day, 1-park per day special offer tickets instead? If so, then that would explain it! Those tickets are only able to be used for weekday admission through May 25, 2023. If you look instead at any of those weekdays, then you should be able to make your park reservations just fine up through May 25.
If there was some confusion when you purchased your tickets, or if you have more specific questions about your particular situation, I would highly recommend
calling a Cast Member at the Tickets line. They're always friendly and should be able to help sort out a solution to get you in the parks!
Once you do get to the parks, make sure to go see the newly imagined
Mickey's Toontown that just reopened! I had a chance to see it this past weekend, and wow - it's incredible! There are so many beautiful green spaces that are perfect for a picnic (in true Mickey & Minnie style). If you're looking for food recommendations for your picnic, I would highly recommend the Pepperoni Pizza Flop-Over and Picnic Time Watermelon Lemonade from
Café Daisy.
Thank you again for your question, Carrigan! I do hope you have an amazing visit to the Happiest Place on Earth. Please stop by and see us again here at planDisney with any other follow-up questions you might have!
Have a Magical Day,
Greg
