I bought tickets & reserved a day for Disneyland. Plans changed; I canceled the reservation; then reserved for a new date. Tickets for the new date are less than the ticket price I originally paid. Am I able to recover the price difference in any way?

    Hi Jonathan, welcome to planDisney!

The Disneyland Resort uses a ticketing tier system for standard one-day theme park tickets. This means the price of the ticket will vary depending on the theme park reservation date that you select. Tickets currently range from Tier 1 to Tier 6. Tier 1 has the most restrictions in terms of eligible reservation dates and Tier 6 has the least number of restrictions. The ticket that you purchase will be valid for admission on the date you selected and on dates in the same or lower tier. This gives you the flexibility to change your reservations yourself from within your Disneyland Resort account. However, changing your reservations from a higher Tier day to a lower Tier day will not result in a refund of the ticket price difference. You can try calling the Disneyland Resort Ticket Line at 714-781-4636 to see if the Cast Members can make an exception!
