I bought all of the tickets (14 people) to come to wdw. I did not realize this would link all the tickets to my account, because I would like my brother to be in charge of his family’s tickets through his own account. How can I unlink and & him relink?

    Welcome to planDisney, Christy!

Oh, what a wonderful trip you have planned. 14 people heading to Walt Disney World together? Magical!

As the planner in most groups, I completely understand your purchase of tickets for everyone; the key now is to give everyone control over some of those plans in the way that works for you. Thankfully, Cast Members at Walt Disney World have made this quite easy, so let's walk through the process.

First, be sure that your brother has established his own My Disney Experience account and that you each have accepted each other on your Family & Friends list. This is easy to do if you select the option to send an invitation to connect via email right in that Family & Friends section listed in the My Disney Experience tab. Your brother should have everyone in his family listed in his account as well, and you should both select "All My Plans" as well as "My Disney PhotoPass Photos" so that you can see each others plans and pics. Once connected, you'll be able to assign the tickets you purchased to your brother and his family members.

Also in the My Disney Experience tab, locate "My Plans", which includes Advanced Dining Reservations, Walt Disney World Resort hotel reservations, theme park tickets, and other plans such as park reservations in the Disney Park Pass system. Once there, click on Theme Park Tickets and Passes, selecting each ticket and assigning it to a member of your traveling party. After you've completed this step for each ticket, you'll be able to start securing your park reservations in the Disney Park Pass system--the next step to gaining access to those most magical park days.

If you and your brother enable each other to make plans for the entire group, one of you is able to do so for everyone, which may make it easier if you plan to tour together each day. If you plan on dividing and conquering for a portion of your visit, it's easier for each of you to make those plans for just your immediate family. What's great about My Disney Experience, though, is that you can see each other's plans, making travel planning practically perfect in every way.

Should you need assistance at any point in the ticket assigning process, just call (407) 939-5277 and a magical Cast Member will be happy to help.

Prior to your departure, make sure that everyone in your party has downloaded the super-handy My Disney Experience mobile app, which makes keeping on top of your plans a breeze. Not only will you be able to see each other's travel details, you'll also be able to see those classic Disney PhotoPass Service pics that capture the magical moments of your stay. Because there is such a fun, big group of you going, consider purchasing Memory Maker - A Disney PhotoPass Product. Once you are all linked in your My Disney Experience account, you'll have access to all photos taken by the very talented Disney PhotoPass photographers, regardless of if you are touring together or not. It's a great perk!

As you plan your visit to The Most Magical Place on Earth, be sure to send additional questions our way, Christy. We love to help!
