Hello Federica. Welcome to planDisney! We’re so glad you’ve stopped by with your question for us.
I’m sorry to hear you’re not able to visit the
Happiest Place on Earth as originally planned! Although theme parks tickets are non-refundable, please rest assured that you have plenty of time to use your tickets if your plans change. If you recently purchased a one-day ticket (when Disneyland Resort reopened after the pandemic closure), it is valid through December 30, 2022. If you purchased a multi-day ticket, it will expire within 13 days of first use, or by January 12, 2023, whichever occurs first. Hopefully this gives you plenty of opportunities to plan a trip to the Disneyland Resort at a later time! When you’re ready to make your theme park reservations, simply head to
Disneyland Resort's website and pick the new dates you wish to visit.
If you’re still unable to travel to Disneyland Resort until after December 2022 or January 2023 (depending on the type of ticket you have),
Hakuna Matata! According to Disney’s
eTicket Terms and Conditions, unless otherwise stated, the amount you paid for your wholly unused, expired Disneyland Resort theme park ticket (except for Special Event ticket) can be applied towards the purchase of a new theme park admission ticket at the current price. The new ticket price just needs to be equal to or greater than the amount paid for the original ticket.
I hope this information is helpful for you, Federica. If you have more questions for us, please don’t hesitate to
write us again. We’re all EARS!
See ya real soon,
Kiki
