Hi there, Juana! Welcome to planDisney!
I'm glad to hear that you're ready to come back and visit The Happiest Place on Earth. The last few years have been unpredictable for all of us, but the Disneyland Resort has returned to its magic in many ways. For starters,
Character Greetings are back. After a long hiatus, you can finally hug Mickey, Minnie, Donald, Daisy and all your other faves when you visit! Also, Nighttime Spectaculars have returned. Experience
World of Color,
Main Street Electrical Parade,
Disneyland Forever Fireworks or
Fantasmic! during your upcoming stay. There is nothing like a dazzling show in the sky to cap off an already magical park day.
Juana, though life may still be a little unpredictable, the Disneyland Resort is not! I'm happy to share that
theme park tickets purchased before the COVID-19 closure are not a lost cause! Most of these tickets had their expiration dates extended automatically, but even if you're past that window, you can still apply the value of any wholly unused Disneyland theme park tickets to a new ticket purchase. If there is a price difference, you will be required to submit payment for that, but this will depend on the exact date you choose to visit.
Your next step is to contact a friendly Disneyland Resort Cast Member at the
Ticket Services Line. They will be able to assist in converting your tickets to the newest ticket type and can even help find new dates for your stay.
The most notable change through the pandemic at the Disneyland Resort is that Guests are now required to make
theme park reservations before entering the parks. October is a pretty popular time to visit, as the Halloween fun is in full swing, so be sure to choose your exact dates and make these reservations as soon as possible!
Have a magical day,
Ashley
