I bought tickets online for the Disney California Adventure Park and I was wondering if I can use the ticket to go to the Disneyland Park instead.

    Hi Melina,

Thanks for stopping by planDisney with your question for us. I bet you’re excited to be visiting Disneyland Resort in a few weeks!

With a 1 Park Per Day ticket, you can visit either Disneyland Park or Disney California Adventure Park. If you wish to switch your park reservation from one park to another, you can definitely do so, provided that spots are still available. Before you change your reservation, be sure to check out the Theme Park Reservation Availability calendar to see if Disneyland Park is available on the day you wish to visit. In order to switch parks, you’ll actually need to cancel your current park reservation. Then, return to the “Theme Park Tickets & Reservations” page and under “If you’ve already purchased a ticket:”, click on “Make Park Reservations”. Pick the date and new park you wish to visit and confirm your selections. Once your new reservation is processed, you’ll receive a confirmation email.

I hope this information is helpful for you. Please don’t hesitate to write us again if you have more trip-planning questions. Be sure to visit Disneyland.com or Disney Parks Blog for the latest park news!

    Have a magical day,

Meet the Panelist: Kiki, California

Greetings from Northern California! I have been fascinated by the magic of Disney since I was a little girl; now that I am a mother of two, I love watching my children experience Disney Parks through their own eyes. I am also surrounded by fellow Disney-loving nurse friends whom I enjoy quick adults-only Disneyland Resort escapes with. Whether you are planning your once-in-a-lifetime family trip or a short adults-only getaway to the Happiest Place on Earth, I am here to help!
