Hi Julee!
Welcome back to planDisney! We love chatting about all things Disneyland Resort and are so happy to see Guests return to keep the conversations going. With a group visit to the Happiest Place on Earth in your future, I bet you're eager to get your Disneyland ducks in a row. There's nothing quite like making magical memories together, so let's take a look at your question and set you up for a successful day in the pixie dust.
It sounds like you have five
theme park tickets, two of which include
Lightning Lane Multi Pass. You purchased one set of three tickets and then made a second transaction for the additional two that have Multi Pass. If I'm interpreting your question correctly, you are asking if you can forgo the Lightning Lane Multi Pass on the two tickets and put the value towards the original purchase of the three theme park tickets. I hope I have that right! While I would love to wave a magic wand and make that available to you, theme park tickets and
entitlements, such as Park Hopper upgrades and Multi Pass, are non-refundable, non-transferable, and cannot be redeemed for cash, so this type of transaction is not possible. I'm sorry, Julee, I know that was not the news you were hoping to hear!
There are several perks that come with the Lightning Lane Multi Pass, which are definitely worth considering. Of course, Guests with those tickets will have access to Lightning Lanes on select attractions so they can skip the standby queue and maximize their time in the magic. Additionally, they will have access to unlimited digital downloads of all the
Disney PhotoPass photos taken that day. There are PhotoPass photographers sprinkled throughout the parks, so you can take full advantage of this perk to capture those unforgettable memories! You can even find the photographers easily in the Disneyland App by tapping the pinpoint icon along the bottom navigation bar and then scrolling to "Disney PhotoPass" along the top of the map to reveal their locations. My best tip here is to ask for a Magic Shot...you won't regret it!
I would imagine that your group might like to experience the attractions together. While I know this is not what you were hoping for, you could add Lightning Lane Multi Pass to the additional three tickets easily in the Disneyland App. You have time to consider this option and can actually add it once you are in the parks, if that's something your group would like to do. In the Disneyland App, you'll see the option right at the top of the homescreen. Once your group has scanned into the park, you can make your first Lightning Lane selection. If you have all the tickets linked to your account, you will be able to make the selection for the full group so you can experience the magic together.
Julee, I hope this has helped plan your visit. If you have additional questions or we didn't quite give you the answer you were looking for, please come back to see us again here at
planDisney.
See ya real soon!
