Hello. I bought 4 tickets for one day one park (Disneyland). But one person is unable to attend. Can I change a pass for a future date or get credit?

    Hi Bianca!

Welcome to planDisney! We're so excited that you stopped by with this Disneyland Resort planning question. I'm happy to be your planEAR today!

Oh no! I'm so sorry that one of your friends is no longer able to attend your Best! Disneyland! Day! Ever! with the rest of your party. I am very happy to say that yes, this ticket will be able to be used for some future fun, either by the original ticket holder or by you, the ticket purchaser. All you need to do is cancel the existing Park Pass Reservation for the friend who needs to stay home, and that's it! Park tickets are usually valid for a year, and your exact expiration date should be somewhere in the fine print in the original email. But, because you purchased the tickets at the same time, you could ask a Cast Member at a Guest Relations location if they can tell when the expiration date of your ticket is, and that should also apply to the one you're not using that day.

To reschedule the make-up Disney day, you'll be able to log in to your My Disneyland Account or your Disneyland Mobile App and select another day for which your 1-Day 1-Park ticket is also valid. (If you bought a tier 3 ticket, you can visit on any tier 1, 2, or 3 day; etc.) If you're unable to visit before the expiration date, the value of what you paid for the fourth ticket will remain and can be used towards the purchase price of a future Theme Park Admission Ticket for any length of time, including as payment toward a Magic Key annual pass!

I hope that this helped to clEAR up your question and plan an extra Disney day of fun, Bianca! Be sure to follow the official planDisney Instagram account for all kinds of tips and tricks. And if you have any more Disneyland Resort vacation planning questions, We're All Ears!
