So I bought tickets for October and we are looking into the blue bayou for dinner, but it shows book for the next few months and I saw Oct 5th and it's booked too. I'd it open?? There can't be no openings.

Thanks for cruising by planDisney with your dining reservation question, Tara!

I dined at Blue Bayou a couple of weeks ago with some of my planDisney friends! This iconic restaurant overlooks Pirates of the Caribbean, and I love watching the boats float by in the distance. Tara, advanced dining reservations open 60 days in advance for most Disneyland Resort restaurants. This means that reservations for your visit date would have opened yesterday. I do see some availability right now, but this can change quickly. Blue Bayou is one of the most popular restaurants at the resort, and reservations book incredibly quickly. If you aren't seeing availability, try adjusting your search (trying a table for four, instead of two).

If you aren't able to score a dining reservation before your visit, I recommend getting to Disneyland Park early on the day of your visit. Head to Blue Bayou when it opens and see about joining the Walk-Up List. Sometimes, you can also see if there is an option to join the Walk-Up List in the Disneyland Mobile App. Search for Blue Bayou, and on the restaurant's page, there may be an option to "Join Walk-Up List". You will usually need to be near the restaurant to join the Walk-Up List. You may need to be flexible with your dining time when booking for the same day.

Tara, I hope this helps, and you have a most magical visit. Please let us know if you have any more questions!
