I bought 2 tickets and am not able to use them so a friend who is near Disneyland will be using them. Is there a way to change the name on the tickets or will the name matter when at the gate?

Hey There, Hi There, Ho There, Catalina!

Welcome to planDisney! Thank you so much for stopping by, and we are so excited to answer your question and help you plan your upcoming trip to the Disneyland Resort! We KNOW you are going to have the most MAGICAL time ever!

So, are you ready for some TIGGER-ific news? I am very happy to inform you that you do not have to change the name on your purchased Disneyland Theme Park Tickets in order for your friends to use those specific tickets. When you arrive at either of the Disneyland Theme Parks, a very helpful Cast Member will take a picture of every person in your party using their specific tickets. From there, the ticket will then be assigned to the person on the picture, not to the name on the ticket. Don't you just love it when a PLAN comes together?! I know I do!

As you know, Mickey Mouse and his pals are making exciting announcements ALL of the time, and we don't want you to miss a THING! That is why I highly recommend you follow Disneyland on all of its social media channels, and be sure to subscribe to the The Disney Parks Blog for the most up-to-date Disney information.

If you have other questions, please do not hesitate to ask! We are here to help in any way!

    Have a TIGGER-ific day!
