Hello Stephanie,
It's exciting to hear you're planning to visit the Walt Disney World Resort. I am sorry to hear, though, that you might need to cancel your plans. Hopefully, you'll find it helpful to know you can have some peace of mind with the flexibility to accommodate changes.
While theme park tickets are
nonrefundable, you do have some options for changing your tickets. If you purchased Walt Disney World Resort theme park tickets, you can make changes to your ticket dates (and other changes) before midnight ET of the day before the first valid use date of the ticket. Keep in mind that ticket pricing uses a date-based pricing system, and so there could be a price difference if you select a higher-priced ticket date when you change your dates.
You can use the
My Disney Experience mobile app to make changes to your tickets. You can tap the main menu (the 3 stacked lines) on the app's home screen, and tap the "Tickets and Passes" tile, and use the "Change Ticket" feature. You can also reach out to the
Walt Disney World Resort ticket services team at (407)-934-7639 to get some assistance.
In the event that your tickets go unused and do expire, you can
apply the price you paid for a ticket towards the purchase of a new ticket that is priced the same as or higher than your original ticket.
Stephanie, I hope you do get to enjoy your visit to the Walt Disney World Resort real soon. Here's wishing you lots of Disney magic in your day today!
Jerry
