    We bought tickets for MVMCP and I'm trying to find the 'right' restaurant for before. What about Whispering Canyon Cafe and taking the boat to MK?

    Dining at any of resorts near Magic Kingdom will work well for your dinner prior to attending Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party.

    The Whispering Canyon Cafe is one of our favorite restaurants. First, the Wilderness Lodge is absolutely beautiful and it'll be especially festive at Christmas time. Wait til you see the tree! The restaurant serves great food with fun antics by the servers. It'll definitely help get your family in the holiday spirit! The boat ride to the Magic Kingdom is very nice except on chilly evenings. Just bring a jacket and sing Christmas carols on your way to the Magic Kingdom!

    Our family is dining at Chef Mickey's prior to Mickey's Not-So-Scary Halloween party this year. We'll be in close proximity to walk over to the Magic Kingdom following dinner which will work well since our son will likely be in a costume.
