I bought tickets months ago for a planned trip to Los Angeles, but when I tried to make reservations today, there are no reservations available for the dates we will be there. What can I do?

    Hey there, Rachel!

A very warm welcome to planDisney! Thanks for bringing your question our way!

I’m sure you’re looking forward to your vacation to “The Happiest Place on Earth!” And, it sounds like you’ve already reviewed the new guidelines on the Disneyland Resort website. I'm so glad that you are aware of the requirement for making an advanced Theme Park Reservation. This reservation is required in addition to your valid admission ticket and you can make a reservation for one theme park each day of your trip.

I am sorry to hear that you are having trouble securing reservations for the dates of your vacation. Theme Park Reservation availability can vary from day to day as people modify or cancel their plans. I recommend continuing to check the Availablity Calendar. In some cases, I’ve even seen Guests obtain same-day reservations. I encourage you to be flexible with your plans and secure a reservation at whichever theme park is available on the day of your visit. If you’ve purchased Park Hopper tickets, you may hop after 1:00 p.m. You are not required to make an additional theme park reservation to visit a second park or hop back and forth between parks. But, as always, theme park admission is subject to attendance availability.

Best of luck! Thanks again for bringing your question to planDisney!
