Hey there, hi there, ho there, Jessel, and welcome to planDisney.
Mickey's Not-So-Scary Halloween Party has been a favorite event of mine for over a decade and like you, I have had to make alternate arrangements on occasion due to unforeseen circumstances.
I am so glad that you spoke with a Cast Member last year who said that the
Special Event ticket(s) could be used at another time. The timeframe is unclear and you will need to speak to a Cast member again once the dates are released for the 2024 Mickey's Not-So-Scary Halloween Party season. There is no hard and fast rule regarding these situations but one thing to keep in mind is that if the party ticket this year is more expensive than what you previously paid then you will likely need to pay the difference. The price difference will depend on the date and the closer you get to All Hallows' Eve the more expensive the ticket. Unfortunately, tickets purchased for use at Walt Disney World Resort may not be used at
Disneyland Resort.
One other consideration we have made in the past is whether we were able to use a Mickey's Not-So-Scary Halloween Party ticket credit for a
Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party ticket. A Cast Member will be able to let you know if you can do that exchange as well.
Keep an eye on the
Disney Parks Blog for ticket sale dates for Mickey's Not-So-Scary Halloween Party. Last year tickets went on sale on April 27 for Guests with reservations at Disney Resorts Collection hotels and then on May 2 for everyone else.
Jessel, I hope you can make it to Mickey's Not-So-Scary Halloween Party this year as the Ghost Host is always looking for one more Guest to invite to this spooktacular event. Please feel free to
write me back directly with any follow-up questions or for other Disney vacation planning tips.
Enjoy making many Magical Memories.
