I have bought tickets to the Mickeys Very Merry Christmas. Does this ticket get me in the park? Or do I have to have a separte park ticket??? What exactly are th parkhopper passes for?

    Hi Melanie,

The separate ticket for Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party (MVMCP) that you have purchased is enough to get you into Magic Kingdom, only from a certain time.  Although it is not advertised, you may use your MVMCP ticket to get you into Magic Kingdom anytime after 4:00pm on that day.  If you were looking at going to the Park earlier in the day then yes! you would need to purchase a separate Park admission ticket in order to get admittance from opening time until 4:00pm.  I usually find something else to do (i.e. Downtown Disney, visit the other WDW Resorts, swim, boat rentals, etc...) for the day of the special event up until 4:00pm and then I go to enjoy my special evening at the Park.  This way I have an excuse to do all of the outside WDW experiences that I normally would not have so much time for if I were spending all my time in the Parks!

The Park Hopper Option will allow you entry into more than one Theme Park per day for the entire length of your ticket (i.e. you could go to Magic Kingdom, Animal Kingdom, Hollywood Studios and Epcot all in the same day with this ticket if you were so inclined).  I love the Park Hopper Option and often use it for visiting two Theme Parks in one day (that has been my limit!).  Often I will visit one Park during the day and another different one in the evening to enjoy the "Evening Extra Magic Hours" that many times will be offered at another Park than the one I am interested in going to during the day.  I am not an early riser, so I am very rarely up to the challenge of the Morning Extra Magic Hours (I love the atmosphere in the late evenings at the Theme Parks as well).  I hope you have a magical experience at MVMCP!

    Best wishes,
