Hi, I bought my tickets in May. My cousin passed away right before our reservation and I recently just found out I was pregnant. Is there anyway to transfer my tickets to someone or be able to use them next year?

Hey there, hi there, Alexus! Welcome to planDisney. We are so glad you stopped by with your ticket question.

First, please let me offer my condolences for the passing of your cousin, as well as say congratulations on your pregnancy. You've gone through a lot recently. Since you purchased your tickets in 2022, these tickets are valid until December 30, 2023. This means you will have time to use your tickets yourself next year. All you would need to do is make new theme park ticket reservations. You do also have the option to let someone else use your tickets. For this, all you would need to do is share your ticket ID number with that person. They can then link the tickets to their Disney account. That should be all that needs to be done. It is okay if your name is attached to the tickets. They aren't specifically attached to a Guest until the ticket is scanned in at a park gate for the first time. This is where the Cast Member will take a picture and this is what assigns a ticket to someone.

If you wait until next year to use your tickets, that means you'll be able to bring your newest little Mouseketeer with you for their first Disneyland Resort visit. As a momma, I was always so excited about my children's first trip. Their first trip always included a stop at Mad Hatter for a personalized pair of Mickey Ears.

Alexus, I hope this information gives you peace that you have plenty of time to make a visit to Disneyland Resort. Thanks again for stopping by!
