Bev from WA Asked Please note that experiences, policies, pricing and other offerings are subject to change and may have changed since the date of this answer.

Bought tickets in March, they expire in March of next year, we probably won’t be able to get there until the summer of next year, are they going to extend the life of the tickets or are they going to be usuable indefinitely?

Hello Bev and welcome to planDisney! Thanks for the question!

Rest assured you’ll be able to take a magical vacation at a later date. So far, the Disneyland Resort has announced extensions to a few different promotional theme park ticket types including Southern California Resident Tickets, Canada Resident Tickets and 2020 Military Salute Tickets. Please check the website for more information about the new ticket expiration dates for these promotional ticket offers.

But, even if you don't have one of the theme park ticket types that have been granted an extension, don't worry! According to eTicket Terms & Conditions, unless otherwise stated, the amount paid for any wholly unused, expired Disneyland Resort theme park ticket (with the exception of Special Event Tickets) may be applied towards the purchase of a new theme park admission ticket at the current price. The new ticket purchase price must be equal to or greater than the amount paid for the original ticket. So, if you're unable to visit before March 2021, simply go to a Main Entrance ticket booth, or a Guest Relations location inside the theme park when you’re ready to visit. And, ask a Cast Member to apply your eligible ticket amount towards a new ticket purchase.

The magic of the Disneyland Resort will be waiting for you when you’re ready to visit! Until then, please come see us again with your vacation planning questions.
