Hi, Shernetta! Thanks for stopping by planDisney with your question.
Magic Kingdom Park and Disney's Animal Kingdom Theme Park are both great options, you cannot go wrong whichever park you end up visiting! If you are wanting to switch your
park pass reservation from Magic Kingdom Park to Disney's Animal Kingdom Theme Park, you can absolutely do that as long as there is theme park availability.
Here's how to do it:
- First, you will need to check to see if there is theme park availability for Disney's Animal Kingdom Theme Park on the day you'd like to go.
- If there is, the next step is to log in to your MyDisneyExperience account and scroll down to see your daily itinerary under the "My Plans, Reservations & Tickets" section
- On the day that you'd like to change, you are going to select "View Details"
- This is going to take you to a page where you'll see the option to cancel your existing park pass reservation. You'll need to cancel your existing park pass reservation in order to choose a different one
- Once you've canceled your existing reservation, head over to the park pass reservation website
- You'll be prompted to choose your party, a date on the calendar and the theme park you'd like to visit.
- If there is availability for that date, you'll be taken to a confirmation page and then you should be able to see your new park pass reservation in your MyDisneyExperience account
I know it seems like a lot of steps all typed out but once you start the process it's very quick and automated - you won't have any trouble. Disney's Animal Kingdom Theme Park is so much fun. If you are looking to have a tasty and unique snack while you are there, I suggest trying the curry street corn which can be found at a snack cart right outside of
Kilimanjaro Safaris. The corn is grilled to perfection and then coated in butter and curry seasoning. I look forward to having one every time I am at Disney's Animal Kingdom Theme Park, it's so unique!
I hope you are able to switch your park pass reservations around without any problem, Shernetta. If you have any other questions, please feel free to come back and
ask me. I'm happy to help!
