Hi, I have bought tickets for magic Kingdom this Saturday but it shows that it's going to storm all day. What should I do? If we get rained out

Welcome to planDisney, LaAnda! I'm so glad to be able to answer your question today, and I'm excited to hear that you've got plans to visit Magic Kingdom Park this weekend! There's nothing quite like spending a day eating Mickey-shaped snacks on Main Street, U.S.A.

A little rain won't stop you from having a great time at Walt Disney World Resort this weekend. The Theme Parks operate rain or shine, so you don't need to worry about getting rained out and not being able to go. A little bit of preparation is really going to help you out if you're visiting on a rainy day, so here are my top wet weather tips for you. Make sure to pack your ponchos or rain jackets in your backpack so you're prepared for the drizzle. It also helps to have some waterproof shoes or flip-flops or an extra pair of sneakers and socks so your feet can stay dry.

There are also lots of opportunities for you to spend time indoors when it's raining outside. Attractions like Space Mountain and Pirates of the Caribbean operate completely indoors with covered queues! A rainy day is also a great opportunity to take in a classic show, like Walt Disney's Carousel of Progress or Country Bear Jamboree. I recommend choosing to eat lunch at a place with lots of indoor seating, like Cosmic Ray's Starlight Café or Columbia Harbour House, which has a quiet second-floor dining area that almost always has tables available. Even if the day does end up being a little wet, I know you're still going to have a magical time!

    See ya real soon, LeAnda!
