    I bought tickets and made reservations for total 9 family members so they are all listed under me. Three are children. My son wants to purchase the genie+ for everyone. Can he do that from his my Disney app or can it only be done from my app?

    You're starting the new year off right with a magical Walt Disney World Resort vacation. If your New Year's resolution is to brave new adventures, I highly recommend experiencing Guardians of the Galaxy: Cosmic Rewind at EPCOT. If your New Year's resolution involves physical activity, you'll have no problem getting your steps in as you explore any combination of the four theme parks.

    Disney Genie+ service is a wise investment for Guests that want to spend more time doing and less time waiting during their park days. Genie+ grants Guests access to Lightning Lanes at over 40 attractions throughout the four theme parks. You can purchase Disney Genie+ service for anyone that appears on your Family and Friends List with valid admission and a theme park reservation attached to their My Disney Experience account or account profile.

    Applying this information to your specific question, Beckie, your son can use his My Disney Experience mobile app to purchase Disney Genie+ service for anyone that appears on his Family and Friends List (three small lines at the bottom right of the home page --> scroll down to "My Profile" --> click the "Family and Friends List" tab) as long as they have a ticket and theme park reservation attached to their account or account profile. He can purchase Genie+ after midnight each park day via the Tip Board of the My Disney Experience mobile app (three small lines --> Tip Board --> Purchase for Today). I recommend purchasing by 6:45 a.m. so you can book your first Genie+ Lightning Lane attraction at 7:00 a.m. on the dot (three small lines --> Tip Board --> scroll to desired attraction --> click LL Disney Genie+ button).

    If your name does not appear on your son's Family and Friends List, Beckie, start by accessing your Family and Friends List online and making sure the words "My List is Shared" appear next to your name. If they do not, click "Update" and "Share My List." Next, ask your son to access his Family and Friends List and click "Add a Guest" at the bottom. He should select "I'll enter their name and age" and enter your name and age. Once your age is entered, he should select "Invite this Guest to connect" and enter the email address associated with your My Disney Experience account. Once you accept the email invitation sent to your account, you and your son will be connected as Family and Friends, which means you can view and make plans for each other. Keep reading to learn how your son can connect with the rest of the family.

    Once you and your son are connected as Family and Friends, ask your son to once again access his Family and Friends List and click "Add a Guest." This time the names of the My Disney Experience account profiles housed in your account should automagically appear when "Find through my connected Guests" is selected. Your son should select the names of all family members and "Done." He should then confirm the presence of everyone on his Family and Friends List and feel a magical sense of accomplishment knowing he is all set to purchase Disney Genie+ service and reserve Disney Genie+ Lightning Lane attractions for the entire family.
