Hey there, Tara, and welcome to planDisney!
With all of the progress you’ve made on planning your upcoming Walt Disney World vacation, the next steps are obvious! It’s time to relax! Well, almost time to relax. With your Theme Park Tickets, Park Reservations, and MagicMobile Pass all secured, the next step in the vacation planning is my favorite stop:
Disney Dining. While Disney Dining is certainly not a requirement, I always like to gently suggest that each Guest consider their eating plans for vacation. After all, you’re going to need the calories to offset all of the walking you’ll be doing. Snagging a reservation for a table service meal is a great way to rest, recharge, and regroup during your Theme Park day. My family enjoys grabbing a sit-down lunch on our Theme Park days to gear up for an afternoon filled with adventure. Most table-service restaurants require a reservation and your dining reservation window opens 60 days before your arrival date. And if you are a
Disney Resorts Collection hotel Guest, you can make reservations for your entire stay when your window opens.
And if sit-down meals aren’t quite your jam, no worries! Some of my favorite meals have consisted of snacking around the “world” in
EPCOT or eating at some of our favorite
quick-service spots in
Magic Kingdom or
Disney's Animal Kingdom. These don’t require a reservation, and you can mobile order or just walk up and order food when you are ready for a meal. Choosing quick-service meals is a great way to discover the amazing dining that Walt Disney World has to offer, but requires a little less advanced planning.
But after securing your dining reservations, there really isn’t much left to do. So I guess it’s finally time to relax - seriously this time. I hope this helps, Tara! If you have more questions while planning your vacation,
stop back by and let me know!
