I bought tickets and made a reservation for a specific day. If something comes up (one of us is feeling ill) may we change our tickets and reservation to another date?

    Hi there, Jennifer.

Welcome to planDisney. Thanks for stopping by with your question for us. I’m delighted to see you’re planning to visit the Happiest Place on Earth during the holidays! It is such a merry time to explore the theme parks with the beautiful festive decorations, delicious seasonal treats and unique attraction overlays.

If something comes up and you’re unable to visit the Disneyland Resort on your original date, please rest assured that you can reschedule your visit for another time. Even if you cancel your current theme park reservations, your tickets will still be valid until their expiration date!

You can cancel and make new park reservations conveniently by logging into your Disney account on the Disneyland mobile app. On the home page of the app, you’ll see “Park Reservations” with your current visit information listed. Click on “Manage or Make Reservations>”. Under “My Theme Park Reservations”, tap on “Cancel Reservation”.
Just follow the prompts to make the necessary cancellations for your upcoming trip.

When you’re ready to reschedule your visit, please be sure to check out the Theme Park Reservation Availability calendar to ensure the new date you wish to visit is available. You can then book your new reservations on the Disneyland mobile app. Once you successfully make new theme park reservations, you’ll receive a confirmation email with unique QR codes.

If you have more trip-planning questions, please feel free to write us again!

    See ya real soon,
    Kiki

Meet the Panelist: Kiki, California

Greetings from Northern California! I have been fascinated by the magic of Disney since I was a little girl; now that I am a mother of two, I love watching my children experience Disney Parks through their own eyes. I am also surrounded by fellow Disney-loving nurse friends whom I enjoy quick adults-only Disneyland Resort escapes with. Whether you are planning your once-in-a-lifetime family trip or a short adults-only getaway to the Happiest Place on Earth, I am here to help!
