Hi Jenny! Welcome to planDisney.
Oh, Gawrsh! I am sorry you hit a roadblock making your
Disney Park Pass reservation on your chosen date. Let's talk about your options. First, please make sure your
Theme Park Ticket is linked to your My Disney Experience account. I like to do this on the
My Disney Experience Mobile App. Open the app, click on the three horizontal lines in the bottom right-hand corner, and select "Tickets and Passes." If you do not see your ticket, click on the "+" sign in the top right-hand corner, followed by "Link Tickets & Passes," and follow the prompts to add your ticket. Now, you are properly linked.
While it is true that theme park tickets are
nonrefundable and nontransferable, you can change the start date of your ticket up to midnight the day before your scheduled arrival without penalty. Under the "Tickets and Passes" section on the app, select your ticket, followed by "Change Ticket." Select your new date. Also, did you know that you can always apply the value of an expired ticket towards the purchase of a new ticket?
And finally, if you upgrade your Theme Park Ticket with the
Park Hopper® Option, you can reserve an available park on your original date to visit first thing in the morning then at 2:00 PM, you can "hop" on to another theme park.
I hope one of the options helps solve your dilemma to get back to the magic real soon.
Keeping it Magical,
Cindy
