I bought tickets and linked those to my account. What do I need to do when I arrive to the park? I've read about having an ID, or picking up something that might take hours. Can I just go with my phone and some personal ID to the gate and get in?

    Hi, Eleonora! Welcome to planDisney!

It's beginning to look a lot like Christmas at the Walt Disney World Resort, and you'll get to see it very soon! The theme parks and Resort hotels positively glow during the holidays, and you just can't help but get into the Christmas spirit when you're there!

Eleonora, even though your tickets are linked to your My Disney Experience account, you still need to have a physical ticket to scan at the theme park entrance. But there is a way to turn your phone into a ticket using Disney MagicMobile service! To get started, hop into the My Disney Experience mobile app on your phone and click on the three horizontal lines in the bottom right corner of your screen. Click on the Disney MagicMobile tile (you may be asked to log in again), and follow the prompts to create your digital pass. Next, click "Add to Apple Wallet" for iPhone or "GPay - Save to phone" for Android. Once the pass is in your wallet, you can go straight to the park entrance and hold your phone up to the tapstile to scan. If you have multiple Guests' passes on the same device, you'll just call up each pass and swipe to scan each one individually.

If you have any issues creating a digital pass or saving it to your wallet, you'll need to go ahead and pick up Admission Cards at Guest Relations. But here's one more tip to help save yourself some time on your first park day: If you'll be arriving the day before you plan to visit the theme parks, head over to Disney Springs and pick up your tickets at the Disney Ticket Center in advance. It's quick and easy to access, and you can make a day of it with a nice meal and some shopping at Disney Springs!

I hope this helps you enjoy every magical moment of your Walt Disney World Resort vacation, Eleonora! Thank you so much for stopping by to see us, and I wish you and your family the happiest of holidays!

    Keep Disney Dreaming,

    Kathy K.

Meet the Panelist: Kathy, Florida

I've lived my whole life just an hour's drive from Walt Disney World, so I've been a regular visitor for as long as I can remember. Even after all these years and so many visits, I love that there's still so much to discover! Now that I'm a mom myself, seeing my favorite place through my son's eyes has given me a whole new perspective that I enjoy sharing with other parents of young children. Learn More About Kathy
