Luis from TX Asked Please note that experiences, policies, pricing and other offerings are subject to change and may have changed since the date of this answer.

I bought 4 tickets last night. The website offered me a credit card and $300 off. I applied and was approved, but was still charged $750. Am i still able to get the $300 discount for getting the Disney credit card

Hey howdy hey, Luis! You’ve got a friend in me at planDisney, so let’s get started!

First off, congratulations on purchasing your tickets and becoming a new Disney Visa Cardmember! You’re going to make so many magical memories in just a few short days!

I took a look at the New Cardmember Bonus you mentioned, and it says that you will earn a $300 statement credit after you spend $1,000 on purchases in the first three months from account opening. I read the offer details for additional information, and they state that to be eligible for this bonus offer, your account must be open and not in default at the time of fulfillment. Then, after qualifying, you’ll need to allow up to eight weeks for your credit to appear on your statement. So, it looks like this credit isn’t instant, but will show up after you meet the qualifications mentioned above. So don’t worry, Luis, your $300 credit should still be coming your way, it just may take a little longer than you initially expected.

Did you know that your new card will save you even more money inside the theme parks? Well, I’m happy to report that it will! In fact, you will receive 10% off select merchandise purchases of $50 or more at select locations, in addition to 10% off select dining locations, too! You can also save $5 on the Sip and Savor Pass and receive an exclusive lanyard at the 2022 Disney California Adventure Food & Wine Festival (at Disney California Adventure Park) when using your Disney Visa Card. So, before completing any transactions, it doesn’t hurt to ask if using your new card will provide some extra savings.

I hope this information helps, Luis! Please stop back with any last-minute planning questions. Wishing you and your family a magical getaway to the Disneyland Resort!

    See ya’ real soon!
