Eva from CA Asked Please note that experiences, policies, pricing and other offerings are subject to change and may have changed since the date of this answer.

I bought tickets last month for my family members and they were not able to use them. I would like to know if I can use them on Monday, October 17th for Disneyland Park.

    Hello, Eva,

I’m sorry to hear your family members weren’t able to use those tickets last month. I hope there is still an opportunity to extract some magic out of your Disneyland Resort theme park tickets.

Let’s go over the terms and conditions for Disney eTickets to see what options are available to use your tickets.

    • If the tickets are wholly unused and not yet expired, you may re-book new theme park reservations on a valid and available date. Visit the "My Theme Park Reservations" page to cancel any existing park reservations and then rebook new reservations.
    • If a ticket is partially used, e.g. only some of the days of a multi-day ticket have been used, the same person who first used the ticket may use the remaining days of the ticket until the ticket expires. Most multi-day tickets expire 13 days after the first day of use.
    • If the tickets are one-day tickets, they may be used on any available date of the same or lower ticket tier. To use a one-day ticket on a date of a higher tier, the ticket must first be upgraded. Ticket upgrades may be done at a main entrance. Or you may wish to reach out to a Cast Member with the Tickets phone line to find out if there are any available upgrade options beforehand.
    • Expired tickets that are also wholly unused may be upgraded to a new ticket of equal or greater value.

A wholly unused ticket may be used by a different Guest other than the original Guest whose name is linked to the ticket. In most cases, it’s OK for the other Guest to simply use the ticket as-is. But if you’d like to change the name linked to a ticket, you may call the Tickets phone line.

Tony’s Tip: To check which dates still have theme park reservations available before logging in and going through the process of booking a new reservation, you may consult the theme park reservation availability calendar. Guests staying at one of the three Disneyland Resort Hotels may use the calendar of theme park reservations exclusively for hotel Guests.

I hope that helps you find a way to use your park tickets, Eva. And I hope you have a magical time at The Happiest Place on Earth!

    ~Tony
