Disney Genie+ service. It is correct that if you don't purchase Disney Genie+ at the time of your tickets, you will have to wait until you are scanned into the park to purchase them. There is a possibility that sales for Disney Genie+ could stop to ensure that the service runs smoothly for Guests.
In order to avoid this on a busy day, I suggest making sure you are there at rope drop when the park opens to try to purchase it as soon as you've scanned your ticket into the park. Another tip to help you check out faster is to make sure you already have the
Disneyland app downloaded and that you have a card saved to your Disney account. If you click on the three horizontal lines in the app and scroll down, you will see "My Profile". This is where you can add a credit card. This will have it saved as an option at check-out for any in-app purchases so you don't have to enter your card information every time.
