Diana from VA Asked Note: This answer was provided prior to the change to planDisney and may still contain references to Disney Parks Moms Panel.

I just bought tickets through my husband's company -I know I can link the tickets in MyDisneyExperience, but will I still get the MagicBands or do I have to have paper bc I didn't buy through Disney?

Hi Diana, and welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel!

I hope you are excited about your family’s upcoming trip to the Walt Disney World Resort and that you are having fun with all of the vacation planning.

I am happy to hear that you have your Walt Disney World Theme Park tickets in hand and you already know the importance of linking those tickets to the individual My Disney Experience account for each Guest. Once you have done so, you will then be able to make those all-important FastPass+ selections; either 60 days in advance of your trip if you are staying at a Disney Resort hotel, or otherwise, 30 days in advance.

To answer your question, MagicBands for each family member are automatically included with your reservation if you are staying at a Disney Resort hotel. Once you have linked your Resort hotel reservation to your My Disney Experience account, you will then be able to finalize your MagicBand order, which will then be shipped to you shortly before your trip.

If you are not staying at a Disney Resort hotel, MagicBands are available for purchase at the Walt Disney World Resort upon arrival, at the Disney Store in the Orlando Airport, or online at the Disney Store for orders shipped to the United States. While MagicBands are not required, they offer many conveniences over traditional paper tickets and are a great way to add some extra fun to your trip.

Wishing you many magical moments during your upcoming vacation at the place where the Magic is Endless!
