Welcome to planDisney, Leslie! Let's see if we can find a solution for you.
First of all, I'm so sorry that you have to cancel your trip, and I hope that the emergency is settled in the best way possible. I am sending you my warmest and best wishes and I'm hoping that when everything calms down, you're able to reschedule your trip to the
Walt Disney World Resort.
Theme park tickets, including tickets to
Special Events Tickets like
Mickey's Not So Scary Halloween Party in
Magic Kingdom Park, are nonrefundable and nontransferable. That being said, you should be able to change the date to another one if there's availability. To inquire if this is a possibility, you would need to
call the resort and speak with a friendly Cast Member.
If you're able to reschedule, you'll have a ton of Halloween fun headed your way. Do you want to meet specialty characters? That's covered. Are you into specialty snacks? There are plenty of exclusive snacks available only at the party. Do you look forward to
specialty entertainment? There will be no shortage! And there's even
trick-or-treating! Talk about an exhilarating experience!
Leslie, don't forget that the
EPCOT International Food & Wine Festival is running through November 18, 2023. Between the
Eat to the Beat Concert Series and the
Global Marketplaces, it's definitely not to be missed. Plus,
Journey of Water, Inspired by Moana is opening on October 16, 2023, also in
EPCOT. I'm going to experience this next week and I can't wait!
When you're able to visit the resort, I hope it's more fun than you could even imagine. Please take care of yourself and
reach out if you have any other questions.
Listen with your heart, you will understand,
Matt
