Hey there, Miranda, and welcome to planDisney! Thanks for stopping by the panel with your question!
Miranda, the short answer is: yes!
According to Walt Disney World guidelines, Theme Park Tickets that have not been used can be transferred and reassigned to another Guest on your My Disney Experience Family & Friends List. Based on your question it sounds like you and your Guest are already properly linked in the
Family & Friends List and that the Theme Park Ticket may already be assigned to them. If this is the case, then you are on the right track! Your Theme Park Tickets can be edited directly in your
My Disney Experience Account online. After you log in to your account, select the Theme Park Ticket that you would like to modify and choose “Change Ticket." You will then have the option to edit ticket dates. Making an edit to an individual ticket does not affect any of the other tickets in your purchase. After making the modification, you can verify that none of the other tickets were changed by looking at your upcoming plans in the My Disney Experience Account. Keep in mind that Walt Disney World uses date-based pricing for Theme Park Tickets. So if there is a difference in price between your original tickets and the new dates you’d like to purchase, you will be prompted to pay the difference at checkout.
Be sure to tell your Guest to make new
Theme Park Reservations for the new Theme Park visit dates. Disney Park Pass reservations do not automatically update when changes are made to Theme Park Tickets.
I hope this helps, Miranda! If you have more questions,
stop back by and let me know!
You’ve got a friend in me,
