I bought tickets to go to Disneyland on January 10 but had to cancel because Omicron numbers were so high. Now I see tickets for So. Calif. residents are on sale. Can I exchange my 1-day tickets for the So. Calif. 3-day tickets? If so, how do I do it?

Hi there, Genevieve! Welcome to planDisney! Thanks so much for bringing your question our way.

I know that many Guests have had to modify plans in these current times, myself included! The Disneyland Resort does try to accommodate for when plans change and tickets usually have a long runway before they expire. In most cases, you are able to upgrade your tickets to tickets of a higher value by visiting the Main Entrance Ticket Booth or by giving the Guest Services team a ring at (714) 781-4636. I would recommend starting with Guest Services to discuss your options. As you likely know, you will also need a theme park reservation in addition to a theme park ticket to enter the parks. Reservations do not transfer between tickets, so if you visit the Main Entrance Ticket Booth to upgrade the same day you are visiting the parks, you are subject to reservations that may or may not be available for that day.

The Southern California Resident Weekday Ticket Offer is a wonderful way to visit the parks and makes me wish I was still a local! Anyone residing within ZIP codes 90000-93599 is eligible, and the ticket can be used on most weekdays through May 26, 2022. Both Park Hopper and One Park Per Day tickets are available, just be sure to note any black-out dates that may conflict with your plans. You can purchase up to 5 tickets and all Guests will be required to show a valid government-issued photo ID to enter. What I love about this ticket is that it can be used on non-consecutive days. You can go for a day in March, April, and May if you'd like!

You won't want to miss the Disney California Adventure Food & Wine Festival coming up March 4 - April 26, 2022. Not only is Soarin' Over California making a limited-time return - I have missed those orange groves, but Disney chefs will be cooking up some of their culinary best! There will also be special menu items available at a dozen Festival Marketplaces, wines celebrating all that California has to offer, and live music. There's even some special experiences for little ones, especially those that love decorating cupcakes. All junior chefs are invited to sprinkle to their heart's content at Alice's Wonderland Bakery Unbirthday Party!

Genevieve, I hope you are able to Bibbidi Bobbidi Boo your tickets into the Southern California Resident Tickets! If you have any questions or need any further clarity, we are always here for you at planDisney!

    Magic awaits!
