Hey there, Betsy!
As your neighbor to the south, welcome to planDisney. I just know that your friends are counting down the days before they can use those keys to the kingdom (a.k.a. the theme park tickets you purchased). Let’s get into how your pals can tap into the magic without your presence.
Although you bought the theme park tickets, your two friends will still be able to enter the theme park(s). However, in order to get a physical ticket at a ticket window or
Guest Relations, they would need to provide the valid government-issued ID and credit card that the tickets were purchased with.
But Hakuna Matata! As long as the tickets are assigned to them and they have a valid theme park reservation, they can use their mobile devices or
MagicBands/MagicBands+ to enter. In the My Disney Experience app, they can set up a
Disney MagicMobile pass. Select the three horizontal lines in the bottom right corner of the screen. Then select “Disney MagicMobile” and “Set Up Your Pass.” They can then add their tickets to their mobile device’s wallet. Or if they have a MagicBand or MagicBand+ that is linked to their tickets, that’s the easiest way to scan in to get right into the fun.
AN EXTRA GEM: Currently, the
EPCOT International Flower & Garden Festival is in full bloom. From the beautiful topiaries to the yummy dishes, there’s so much to enjoy. So, I hope this event is on your friends’ itinerary!
I hope that your friends have the most magical time, and hopefully you can join them next time! If you have any other questions, give us a holler here at planDisney.
I’m all ears, Betsy!
Magic always,
LeAndra
