Hey howdy, hey, Jennifer, and welcome to planDisney. I’m excited you’re getting down below the 40th parallel to enjoy some fun in the sun with Mickey and the rest of the Fab Five.
Walt Disney World Resort tickets are non-refundable and non-transferable. When ticket offers become available that are less expensive or when organizations contract to have reduced ticket prices Disney typically does not refund the difference from a previously purchased ticket. If you wanted more days then you may apply a ticket price towards a more expensive ticket. That being said I think it’s worthwhile to
call the existing tickets line and ask how you can take advantage of the price difference. You may also speak with a Cast Member at any ticket window or at the
Disney Ticket Center at Disney Springs.
planDisney Pro Tip: When you contact Disney about your tickets see if you can upgrade your ticket to Park Hopper Plus and then apply your discount. They may consider it a new ticket and while you may not get any money back you may get more for your money.
Jennifer, I hope this information makes sense. Please feel free to
write me back directly with any follow-up questions.
Enjoy making many Magical Memories,
~ Jason
