Hi Kimberly! Thanks for bringing your question to planDisney.
I'm sorry to hear you're under the weather. It's that time of year, I fear. We've been through it in our family as well, and I hate when it interrupts plans like this. But don't worry, your admission ticket is pretty flexible. If you're not able to make your
theme park reservation, which is the date and park you selected when purchasing your ticket, simply modify your reservation to another available day and park. To modify, log in to your Disneyland Resort account, hover over "My Disneyland," and select "Ticket and Reservation Details." Scroll down to "Make or Modify Park Reservations" to begin modifying your park reservation. Park reservations are subject to
availability and not guaranteed.
One important note: It sounds like you purchased a 1-Day ticket. If that's the case, you purchased a Tier 1 admission ticket. You'll need to select another Tier 1 day or pay the difference for an upgrade to visit the parks on a higher Tier date. Tier prices are subject to change. To do this, please call the
Tickets phone line. Have your ticket ID number and method of payment handy. The friendly Cast Member will be able to assist you.
If necessary, a wholly unused ticket retains its value even after its expiration. How's that for flexibility? If your tickets expire before you're able to use them, you'll simply need to call the Tickets phone line and speak to a helpful Cast Member about purchasing a new ticket and applying the value of your expired tickets. You'd only have to pay the difference, as prices are subject to change.
But I hope you're able to visit long before your tickets expire. There's going to be a lot of magic to experience this year in the parks! I'm looking forward to the
Disney California Adventure Food & Wine Festival coming soon. What are you excited to explore?
Feel better soon.
Elizabeth
