We bought tickets for the family to visit Disneyland on Dec 22, 2021. There is a 1 year old who doesn't need a ticket. Do we need to register her or in other way indicate in advance that the 1 year old will be accompanying the ticketed adults?

Hi there, Donald. Welcome to planDisney! Thanks for taking the time to visit us with your question.

I’m delighted to see you and your family will be celebrating the “Holidays at the Disneyland Resort”! Pretty soon, you’ll be strolling down Main Street, U.S.A. with all its festive decorations. I’m happy to report that since children under 3 years of age do not need tickets to see Mickey Mouse and his Pals, your 1-year-old will not need to have a theme park reservation, nor do you need to register her in advance. Just be sure other folks in your travel party over the age of 3 have their valid park admissions and theme park reservations for the day you will be visiting.

I hope this information is helpful for you. Please feel free to write us again if you have more trip-planning questions. We’re all EARs!

    See ya real soon,
    Kiki

Meet the Panelist: Kiki, California

Greetings from Northern California! I have been fascinated by the magic of Disney since I was a little girl; now that I am a mother of two, I love watching my children experience Disney Parks through their own eyes. I am also surrounded by fellow Disney-loving nurse friends whom I enjoy quick adults-only Disneyland Resort escapes with. Whether you are planning your once-in-a-lifetime family trip or a short adults-only getaway to the Happiest Place on Earth, I am here to help!
