Hi there, Marie. Welcome to planDisney!
I see you’ll be heading to the
Happiest Place on Earth with your family in early December. Although you’re the one who purchased the tickets, you’re able to share them with everyone else. The other family members will just need to have their own MyDisney account and have the
Disneyland mobile app downloaded on their phones.
It’s a fairly simple process to share the
theme park tickets with your family. When you’ve signed in on the Disneyland mobile app, tap on the ≡ icon on the lower right corner. Then tap on “My Tickets & Passes”, then “Link Tickets & Passes”. Your family members can either use their phone camera to scan the barcode, or they can manually type the ID number of their theme park tickets. Since you’re the one who made the purchase, you’ll still have all the tickets linked on your app. You can keep the others’ tickets linked, or you can
call to speak with a Cast Member to have the others’ tickets removed from your MyDisney account.
Besides being a place to store theme park tickets and check wait times on
attractions, I like being able to view restaurant menus and mobile order at participating eateries. It’s a convenient way to order our favorite DOLE Whip and Mickey-shaped beignets to pick up without standing in line.
Wishing you and your family a magical time at the Disneyland Resort. Please feel free to stop by
planDisney again if you have more questions for us.
Sending you pixie dust,
Kiki
