Rosanne from AZ Asked Please note that experiences, policies, pricing and other offerings are subject to change and may have changed since the date of this answer.

I have bought tickets for my family. We have 3 day park hopper and one of my adult children wants to have only their reservation on their device and change their reservations only to match additional family members who are attending. How do I unlink?

Hi Rosanne! Welcome to planDisney. Are you already starting to feel the magic? You are just a few weeks from your trip!

Ok, now let's get your planning Disney ducks in a row and get you on your way to the Happiest Place on Earth! Our first step is to make sure your child is all set up with their own My Disneyland account and has the Disneyland Mobile App downloaded to their phone. From there, it's as easy as Bibbidi Bobbidi Boo to upload their ticket! Within the app, navigate to the three-bar menu in the bottom right-hand corner and click on "Tickets and Passes". You will see the option to "Link Tickets & Passes". Simply enter the ticket confirmation number and just like magic your child should see their ticket barcode entered into their account.

I'm so happy to hear that you have your theme park tickets and theme park reservations in place as both are currently required to enter the parks. It's no problem at all to cancel and rebook reservations, but they are subject to availability so I always like to double-check the theme park reservation availability calendar to make sure the new dates are available. Once the ticket is loaded into your child's account, all of the theme park reservations linked to that ticket will be visible for them. From the home screen, you should see the first park reservation near the top just under the Hello message. If you click in there, it will bring you to a page that lists all of the current reservations for that ticket. To change a reservation, you will need to actually cancel and rebook. This is where you want to make sure there's availability before making any changes. Simply choose "cancel reservation" and on the next page, it will show any tickets linked to your child's account. They simply have to select their personal ticket and move forward with the cancellation. At the end of the process, it will take them back to the beginning where they can rebook a new reservation. If for some reason there are no reservations available for the new date, keep checking! Guests are always modifying their plans and reservations can become available, especially as you move closer to the date.

I hope you have plans to hop over to the Disney California Adventure Food & Wine Festival! This festival is woven into your Disney California Adventure Park experience so while you are racing through Radiator Springs or mingling with Avengers, you can be sipping and eating your way through all the tastes of California! Add in some culinary demonstrations and live music and you've got the perfect recipe for an amazing day!

Rosanne, you are in for some magic making ahead! If you have any more questions, we are always here for you at planDisney

    Keep wishing on those stars,
    Tara
