I bought tickets for my family and they are all on my account. How do I transfer the tickets to their Disney accounts? They are already in my Friends and Family list

    Hi Alison!

Welcome to planDisney!  It's always a delightful day when I get to chat with a fellow Marylander!  Let's get right to work getting your park tickets assigned to your family.

Alison, you've already taken a great first step by linking everyone in your party to your Family and Friends List.  Not only will this help you plan before your arrival, but while you're in the parks you'll be able to purchase Disney Genie+, reserve Lightning Lane entrances, and enter Virtual Queues together.  Also, you'll be happy to know that if you purchase Memory Maker to use during your vacation, it can be linked with up to 25 people on your Family and Friends list so everyone will be able to access photos from your favorite rides and around the parks.

Since you have already purchased your tickets and linked your party, the only thing left to do is assign them to your family members!  As long as the tickets have not been used, they can be reassigned to others on your Family and Friends List.  Either on the My Disney Experience Mobile App or through your My Disney Experience account on the Walt Disney World Resort website, you'll want to locate the tickets you wish to reassign.  If you're on the website, you'll find this by going to "My Plans" and then clicking "Tickets, Passes, and Memory Maker."  If you're on the app, you'll want to click the three lines on the bottom right and then select "Tickets and Passes."  One by one, you can click on the tickets and select "Reassign Ticket."  From here, you'll simply choose who you would like to assign the ticket to and you'll be good to go!  If you run into any problems, you can always call Existing Tickets and a friendly Cast Member will be able to assist you.

When it's time for your vacation, everyone in your family can access their tickets by using a MagicBand or creating a pass with Disney MagicMobile.  You can also use either of these to tap into Lightning Lane entrances, and virtual queues as well as to link Disney PhotoPass images to your account and charge purchases to your room.

Alison, I hope this is helpful as you get ready to enjoy all that the parks have to offer during your family vacation!   Please stop by planDisney to see me or any of my panelist pals with any other vacation planning questions you have in the future!

    See ya real soon,
