We bought 10 tickets for our extended family. Is there a way to send the tickets for my 2 daughters' families to their own phones' "wallets" so that they can scan in their own family members when we reach the park?

    Hi Janet, welcome to planDisney!

It sounds like you've assumed the unofficial role of Fairy Godmother for your extended family's visit to Walt Disney World Resort. This isn't Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique, but consider me your Fairy Godmother's Apprentice as we navigate the best way to share the magic in your My Disney Experience account with your family members.

Let's start by reviewing some basics. Each Guest currently requires valid admission, a theme park reservation, and a method of entry (MagicBand, MagicBand+, Disney MagicMobile pass, or admission card) for theme park entry. Theme park reservations are not required for date-based tickets after January 9, 2024.

Disney MagicMobile passes are downloaded in the My Disney Experience mobile app and added to the digital wallet of eligible iPhones, Apple Watches, or Android phones. If you can download all 10 Disney MagicMobile passes in your My Disney Experience mobile app, Janet, that means you are currently managing the My Disney Experience account profiles of everyone in your family. If you wish to continue managing their accounts, Disney MagicMobile passes can be only be shared via Apple iMessage with eligible iPhones via the My Disney Experience mobile app (three small lines at the bottom right of the app's homepage > Disney MagicMobile > Select Passes to Share). Alternately, you can stop by a theme park ticket window to get everyone an admission card. I do not recommend scrolling through 10 Disney MagicMobile passes on your phone at park entry.

If any of your family members wish to use the My Disney Experience mobile app to maximize the magic on their park days (by purchasing Disney Genie+ service, making Lightning Lane reservations, placing mobile food and beverage orders, etc.), please encourage them to create their own My Disney Experience account. Once an account is created, complete these steps to merge the account profile housed in your account with the newly created account:

    1. Click "Update" next to that person's name on your Family & Friends list.
    2. Click "Share planning with [family member's first name.]"
    3. Enter the email address connected to your family member's My Disney Experience account and "Continue."
    4. You'll receive an email when your Family & Friends invitation is accepted. At this point, all of the vacation entitlements (tickets, theme park reservations, dining reservations, etc.) housed in your account will automagically transfer to their account. You will remain connected as Family & Friends, which means you can still view and make plans for each other. Most importantly, your family member(s) can now download their Disney MagicMobile pass(es) directly from their My Disney Experience mobile app.
I hope this information helps your family access the magic on your trip, Janet. Please don't hesitate to contact me directly with any follow-up questions.

    Choose magic,
    Jennifer
