I bought tickets for my extended family. How do I get their e-tickets to them so we do not all have to be together when entering the park?

Hi there, Michael! Welcome to planDisney!

It looks like we have a lot in common! I tend to be the family member who handles most of the planning process, from purchasing tickets to mapping out the finer details of our Disneyland Resort vacation. Choosing the eTicket option is a great way to make sure everyone is accounted for while still allowing them to venture off on their own or abide by their own schedule. It seems like that is what you'd like to do in this case!

Michael- when you chose the option to have your tickets delivered as eTickets, you should have received an email containing these tickets. That email can be forwarded to other Guests, so they can have access to their own individual tickets. Each Guest or family can link their tickets using the Disneyland Mobile App. Open the app and press the menu button in the bottom right corner. Select "Tickets and Passes," then select the "+" symbol. Click "Link Tickets and Passes" to add each individual ticket by scanning the barcode or inputting the numbers on the barcode. If all of your tickets are in one place, it is usually best to link your first, then designate a specific ticket number to each other Guest. They can use the same process to link their tickets.

If technology is not your friend, you're also able to simply print each eTicket and use that to scan into the parks. You can personally print the tickets for those who will be arriving with you, then delegate the other tickets to the other members of your party who will be arriving separately. Or you can print all of the tickets and pass them out to each member of your travel party before your arrival.

Each ticket barcode is unique and can only be scanned once to enter the theme park. Once you arrive at the turnstiles and scan, the Cast Member will take your photo and that ticket will be officially assigned to you for the duration of your visit. It really is as easy as Bibbidi Bobbidi Boo!

Michael, while the theme parks provide all the thrills and character interactions your heart can desire, don't sleep on the Downtown Disney District! Shopping, dining and tasty treats provide plenty of magic for Guests to enjoy outside of the parks. Besides, World of Disney undoubtedly has the best selection of merchandise in all of the Disneyland Resort, so be sure to stop in before your vacation comes to an end.

    Have a magical day,

    Ashley
